  1. What no love for Robert Stewart that charming Marquess of Londonderry or for Corinthian Tom and Jerry Hawthorne? There was also no mention of my all time favourite that elegant dandy George ‘Beau’ Brummell, Antonio Canova that talented Marquis or Augustus Frederick the adorable Duke of Sussex. Oh, for shame Simone. I never took you for the type to favour the Alpha male.

  2. Casslyn,
Here now, that’s hardly fair. I adore Robert Stewart with his two first names like a superhero and would have included him but had I, Tom Moore and Sir Humphry Davy would also insist on a spot. As for ‘Beau’ I’ll always be grateful to him for single-handedly popularizing the black formal attire but he had ridiculous hair. Tom and Jerry were fictional, Sussex was to me a pouting child and Canova was more his art than his charm. Now about that ALPHA male bit, turns out Claire and my sister agrees with you so that I’ll look into and address it in a future post.

  4. Thandi,
Thanks for stopping by. Michael Faraday was a chemist who made vast headway in the electromagnetic field but he was so much more than that. He was brilliant, innovative, humble, decent devote and on and on.
