It hurts all the more when one is tagged by a comrade with quill

Heather Snow is a lovely woman, a good writer and until she tagged me a lady I would gladly call a dear sweet darling. Oh and before you offer up rebuke here is some of what she said about the one who tagged her. "My first instinct was to kick her, but I can’t because a) she’s very pregnant.” Can you imagine it, she felt this strongly about being tagged and still she pasted it on to me but fret not for I will not be passing it on. Instead I’ll ask anyone interested to leave me a comment saying so. Then it will be a game of tag by consent. You know like when we were kids and you entered the game so there was a sort of expectation.

Titian’s 'David and Goliath' or the perfect example of a vicious tag

1. What’s the last thing you wrote? What’s the first thing you wrote that you still have?
Right first thing I thought when I got tagged was why 26 questions and not a nice round number say 20 or even 25, which is easily divided into without much incident then suddenly with number one it all becomes very clear. There is no rhyme of reason to be had from this bit of madness for here they have asked me two question and labeled it one. So I’ve answered in kind.

2. Write poetry?
I will the instant I find something that rhymes with orange.

3. Angsty poetry?
Yes, all of them a lament at not being able to find a word that rhymes with orange.

4. Favorite genre of writing?
Realistic fantasy and before you repute its validity let me assure you that I’m well aware of how far fetched it sounds but still I’m certain it hold a humorous/horrific possibility, besides most of it is semi autobiographical.

5. Most annoying character you’ve ever created?
#4 makes it impossible for me to answer this question without making an annoyance of myself.

6. Best plot you’ve ever created?
Boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, girl discovers shoes and boy realizes he will always be second to Jimmy Choo spring sale.

7. Coolest plot twist you’ve ever created?
Turns out boy heads up promotion for Jimmy Choo and all is right with the world.

8. How often do you get writer’s block?
Every Thursday when there is a waning moon.

9. Write fan fiction?
What Chiwetel Ejiofor, Russell Brand, Ken Watanabe and I get up to in my notebook concerns nobody but us four.

10. Do you type or write by hand?
Even when I type I do so by hand.

11. Do you save everything you write?
No, I wait until there is a waxing moon then I walk into the woods and bury the best of what I've written in homage to the fallen trees.

12. Do you ever go back to an idea after you’ve abandoned it?
Separation anxiety keeps me doing so but I hope to be well enough someday to abandon all.

13. What’s your favorite thing you’ve ever written?
A letter to Santa for it was passionate and full of want.

14. What’s everyone else’s favorite story that you’ve written?
You tell me. I have a half-a-dozen or so short stories listed on the sidebar.

15. Ever written romance or Angsty teen drama?
All most exclusively.

16. What’s your favorite setting for your characters?
Under the sea sadly they keep drowning.

17. How many writing projects are you working on right now?
Only the one but that ends the instant I master ambidexterity.

18. Have you ever won an award for your writing?
Well that all depends on whether or not one counts my ‘best writer in the world’ Extinct Golden Dodo Plume.

19. What are your five favorite words?
Any five that rhymes with orange.

20. What character have you created that is most like yourself?
See #4

21. Where do you get ideas for your characters?
The mirror.

22. Do you ever write based on your dreams?
Yes for sadly I took the ‘Blue Pill.’

23. Do you favor happy endings?
I took the ‘Blue Pill’ didn’t I.

24. Are you concerned with spelling and grammar as you write?
You tell me.

25. Does music help you write?
Only if it’s loud enough to drown out the voices in my head.

26. Quote something you’ve written. Whatever pops into your head.
‘Only if it’s loud enough to drown out the voices in my head.’
Welcome to the middle of the week,
♫ Simone

  3. Simone, your flippant attitude is appalling; I think we'd better have your mother come down here for a talk.

#16 made me laugh out loud. So much for the octopus's garden.

I want to be tagged! There, I've said it. No, waiter, we don't need yet more water. Keep moving.

  4. These are hilarious. Loved them.

And tag by consent. Why the heck didn't I think of that one? Then I would've have forced Heather's hand, and she wouldn't have forced yours. Sorry about that. But only half sorry; I loved reading your tag.

Good luck finding an orange-rhyming word!

  5. I'm with you, Simone. I've been tagged on these things and never again! My problem is asking people first. No one wants it, and neither did I.

    In any case, nice answers.

  15. Simone,

While I quake in fear of your retribution, I am rather glad that I took a chance and tagged you, if simply for the smile that is still riding my face.

I particulary laughed at #6, 7 and 9. You've proven to be not only a good sport, but a very funny one! Thanks for sharing more of yourself with us.

And I truly hope whatever payback you devise for me will not be quite so vicious as Titians.
