To give in the spirit it was given

This award was given to me by Mimi Bleu. I encourage you to stop by her lovely blog, I promise you won't be sorry you did.

The rules of acceptance are as follows: 1) Copy and paste the award and post a link to the blog that nominated you 2) Tell seven things about myself 3) Nominate seven other bloggers and pass the award along.

My every thanks to Mimi Bleu at Bonjour Romance for the lovely honour bestowed and know just as it was given to me I must now pass it on to seven others. Here now in no particular order:

Ines’ blog http://alliam-aredhead.blogspot.com/ is all about the core of femininity. That’s right: perfume. She is establishing her ‘nose’ and is sharing with us her journey to understand what’s behind each fragrance. Oh, and she reviews books too.

Lori has heart and you get that the instant you visit her charming blog full of Pretty Things all of which she created with her own skilful hands. Hers is one of the most joyful sites and you see that in the way followers communicate their genuine happiness in having visited her.

Enzie who as six spectacular blogs, each a marvel and testament to her tremendous talent. You will feel nothing less than awe at her stunning blog. I have listed here her Garden Delights http://garden-delights.blogspot.com/ ... the one that first owned my heart.
Christine’s space is more than chic, it is urbane and I guarantee you will absolutely love her elegant blog.

Jenny loves to read and on this most inviting blog, she shares that passion with a ‘Heart not unlike a favourite teacher,’ who shares her latest read with thoughtful delight.

Val’s blog is, for me, no less than a true delight. She has these photos that all seem to be taken on that perfect summer day. You know the one... where you are on holiday with nothing but time and possibilities? That one.

Renee is a talented writer whose devotion to her craft never fails to inspire me. Her blog catalogues the intricate madness that is a writer’s life with a sort of ease that makes my little blog seem like child’s play.

I encourage you all to follow the links and introduce yourselves.
A lovely weekend to all,
Simone

  6. Simone, thank you very much, not only for nominating me but for your kind words. I had to laugh though, because when I visit you blog there is a seductive sensuality that not very many people can pull off. It's as if I'm sipping tea in one of France's most elegant drawing rooms back in the day. This blog is a place of comfort and transportation. It allows my soul to travel where my vessel has not. And for that I thank you!

  9. Hello, All.
I would like to thank each of you for a brilliant surprise and I’ll tell you why. When I received this award it was at first for me nothing but a thrill. In the days since, it has been transformed into so much more than that for now it is for me a building of ties. Now, I’m well aware how corny this sounds but it’s the truth. I feel, Mimi has presented me with access to a community with this award and your kind words are proof of that embrace.
It is a brilliant feeling and so I thank each of you.
    Best regards,
    Simone

  13. Congrats on the award. :) I love the new outlook of your blog.
I think that I will read 'The Notebook' next. I've seen the movie like million times and it even made my boyfriend cry so I bet that the book is also very good.

'Dear John' starring Channing Tatum will premiere in Finland at March 2010. I can't wait to see that one since I love Channing Tatum.
